Shooting practice

Hey everyone so I recently just picked up a brand new net and set it up in my vicinity. I ’m shooting from about 23 feet to 13 bases down and was wondering if I ’m just shooting from a firing pad straight on wrist shots should I be wearing my hockey gloves, or do you train just with your bare hands?
