Improving Proper Slapshot

Hey,my love for ice hockey is exceptional I am a die fan of ice hockey I have just started going to stick and puck and I am looking to get on a beer league ice hockey team. My wrist shot is pretty good and I can get a decent amount of power behind it, but with my slapshot, I don’t hit it very hard and also it stays on the ice and does not raise at all. Any tips to improve my slapshot? Your help would be appreciated.

Hi, I would recommend you need to make sure and flick your wrist and end up pointing where you want the puck to go.
