Just willing to see what you guys do. So, I’m 25, in pretty good shape, running 5/6 miles or cycling 4 times a week Play icehockey league and feeling like I’m in good enough shape to give it my all for my whole shift the whole game. But the day after games I just feel like trash. Tired, headache, cranky etc. I’ve been hydrating before games and drinking a litre of rehydration solution within the hour after every game. But every Monday I still feel like trash What’s your secret to post-game recovery so you can have a productive day the next day? Why does hockey hurt worse than traditional training? Also, what are the advantages of doing this multiple times a week?
