Tacks vs Supreme Sticks

Hey folks, I have a Tacks AS3 that I really like, but the blade is starting to resolve. Was looking at replacing it with the Supreme, but noticed it was 2 inches longer. Is that commodity that's harder to get used to? Or if I cut it down those 2 inches will it mess with the kick point enough to be conspicuous? Are there any other sticks with analogous kick points I should be looking at that come in a P88?
